![]() ![]() In an effort to improve the safety options available to a vehicle, numerous research laboratories and government agencies are investing time and resources into connecting vehicles to each other and to infrastructure-based devices. This constraint has a direct impact on the types of solutions available to the vehicle. To date almost all intelligent safety devices have relied on data directly perceived by the vehicle.
